Bielik is Poland's premier open-source Large Language Model (LLM): 11 billion parameters fine-tuned for unparalleled Polish language and cultural context.

This is the Bielik-11B-v2 model: a high-performance LLM built through a critical collaboration between the SpeakLeash Foundation and ACK Cyfronet AGH. We trained this 11-billion-parameter asset on massive Polish text corpora, leveraging the national supercomputing infrastructure (Helios and Athena) to ensure domain mastery. The result is a causal decoder-only architecture that delivers superior performance on Polish Natural Language Processing (NLP) tasks, positioning it as the top-performing model in its parameter class. It’s an open-source solution (Apache 2.0 licensed) for deep, culturally-aware text generation and processing.
