Brain MRI
Brain MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging): The gold standard for non-invasive neuroimaging, leveraging a powerful magnetic field and radio waves to deliver high-resolution, radiation-free diagnostics.
This is a critical diagnostic tool. Brain MRI uses a powerful magnetic field (often 1.5T or 3.0T) and radiofrequency pulses to align and measure signals from the body's hydrogen atoms, generating detailed cross-sectional images of the brain. The process is non-invasive and uses zero ionizing radiation, a key advantage over CT scans. We deploy this technology to precisely diagnose conditions like brain tumors, stroke damage, multiple sclerosis (MS) lesions, and epilepsy causes. Specialized sequences (T1-weighted, T2-weighted) and contrast agents (gadolinium) provide the necessary clarity to differentiate soft tissues, including gray and white matter, ensuring accurate clinical evaluation.
