About Me
I’m Joe Heitzeberg, entrepreneur, computer scientist, MIT Sloan MBA and co-founder and chairman of Crowd Cow. 2019 recipient of the Allen School Alumni Impact Award (UW Department of Computer Science).
I’m the Co-Founder and CEO of Blueprint AI. I’m also an active mentor and occasional angel investor, where I focus exclusively on compelling founders who are basically at the pre-formation stage, and who haven’t raised any money, and who are working on compelling AI-enabled applications and infrastructure.
I’m also the organizer of AI Tinkerers Seattle meetup
Entrepreneurship
I co-founded Crowd Cow in 2015 and helped as CEO to build it to over $50MM in annual revenue by connecting conscientious and purpose-driven consumers to the highest quality producers of meats and seafoods. https://www.crowdcow.com
Prior to Crowd Cow, I was the co-founder and President of Madrona Venture Labs, the in-house startup incubator of Madrona Venture Group which produced venture-backed high tech startups including Mighty AI (acquired by Uber) and ReplyYes (acquired by Nordstrom).
Before that I was the founder and CEO of MediaPiston (boostrapped & acquired by UpWork, NASDAQ: UPWK), and co-founder and CEO of Snapvine (VC-backed and acquired by WhitePages). I am a seed investor in startups such as Skilljar, Mystery and Algorithmia and I’m an LP in a few VC funds.
