arcprize
A $1.1 million competition to bridge the gap between LLMs and human-level reasoning through the ARC-AGI benchmark.
ArcPrize is a global challenge hosted on Kaggle to solve the Abstraction and Reasoning Corpus (ARC-AGI) created by François Chollet. While current AI models excel at pattern matching, they struggle with the novel logic puzzles in ARC that require fluid intelligence. The prize pool offers $1,100,000 to teams that can develop open-source algorithms capable of human-like generalization (scoring 85% or higher). By focusing on efficient learning from few examples rather than massive data ingestion, ArcPrize serves as the primary industry yardstick for measuring progress toward true Artificial General Intelligence.
