Evolution API is the open-source, omni-channel platform for robust WhatsApp and multi-service integration, supporting both Baileys and official Cloud APIs.

This platform began as a WhatsApp controller, initially leveraging the Baileys library, but quickly evolved into a comprehensive, multi-service solution. It provides a unified RESTful API for integrating critical services like Typebot, Chatwoot, Dify, and OpenAI. Evolution API supports two distinct connection types: the free, Baileys-based WhatsApp API and the official, high-volume WhatsApp Business Cloud API. This dual support offers flexible, efficient deployment options for microservices (via Evolution API Lite) or full-scale omnichannel automation.
