The Raspberry Pi Pico is a low-cost, high-performance microcontroller board built around the powerful, dual-core RP2040 chip.

This is the Raspberry Pi Pico: a versatile, $4 microcontroller board driven by the UK-designed RP2040 chip. It runs a dual-core Arm Cortex-M0+ processor clocked up to 133 MHz, backed by 264kB of SRAM and 2MB of on-board Flash. You get 26 multi-function GPIO pins, plus eight Programmable I/O (PIO) state machines for custom peripheral support (think: VGA or SD card emulation). Programming is simple: use C/C++ or MicroPython, then deploy via drag-and-drop over USB. It’s the efficient, powerful solution for embedded projects, robotics, and IoT applications.
