Open-source encrypted backup for Android (AOSP) that secures app data and system settings via Nextcloud or physical USB storage.

SeedVault serves as the primary decentralized backup engine for privacy-focused Android distributions like CalyxOS and LineageOS. It implements Client-Side Encryption (CSE) using a 12-word BIP39 recovery phrase to secure data before transmission. Operators can automate daily snapshots to a private Nextcloud instance or execute manual exports to local USB-C storage. The tool manages app APKs, SMS history, and system configurations (WiFi passwords and call logs) without routing traffic through proprietary servers.
