Kinesis is your dedicated engine for high-velocity data: it handles real-time ingestion and processing at scale. The platform consists of four core services: Kinesis Data Streams (for custom application processing), Kinesis Data Firehose (for automated loading to S3, Redshift, or Splunk), Kinesis Video Streams (for secure video feed processing), and Managed Service for Apache Flink (for running continuous SQL queries or Java/Scala code). Use it to power immediate insights (fraud detection, live leaderboards) or to capture gigabytes per second of IoT telemetry and application logs.
