Jason
Jason is a Java-based interpreter for an extended version of AgentSpeak, designed for developing robust multi-agent systems using the BDI architecture.
Jason implements the operational semantics of AgentSpeak(L) to facilitate the creation of cognitive agents based on the Beliefs-Desires-Intentions (BDI) model. The platform provides a complete development environment (including a dedicated IDE and debugger) that allows developers to program reactive planning systems capable of autonomous reasoning and speech-act based communication. By integrating with tools like CArtAgO for environment management and Moise for organizational modeling, Jason enables the deployment of complex, distributed multi-agent systems across standard networks. Its Java-based core ensures cross-platform compatibility and seamless integration with existing enterprise libraries.
