NetLogo
A multi-agent programmable modeling environment for simulating complex social and natural phenomena.
NetLogo enables researchers and educators to build simulations using thousands of independent agents (called turtles) interacting on a grid of cells (patches). Developed by Uri Wilensky at Northwestern University, it features a specialized version of the Logo language and a library of over 300 pre-built models ranging from biology to economics. The platform includes the BehaviorSpace tool for systematic experimentation and supports extensions for Arduino, GIS, and R integration.
