Fluxnova
Fluxnova is the open-source BPMN orchestration engine (Apache 2.0 license) providing audit-ready, vendor-independent workflow automation for the financial services industry.
This is a robust, open-source process orchestration platform, forked from Camunda 7 Community Edition and governed by FINOS (The Fintech Open Source Foundation). It delivers a complete framework: a BPM engine, an API layer, a Modeler, and a Monitoring tool for end-to-end process visibility (four main modules). Co-maintained by five major financial institutions (Fidelity Investments, NatWest Group, Deutsche Bank, BMO, and Capital One), Fluxnova ensures long-term stability and compliance. The technology supports BPMN/DMN standards and is explicitly designed to handle complex workflows, including the orchestration of non-deterministic processes via AI agents: It eliminates the 'User Task' bottleneck by replacing human intervention with autonomous AI agents.
